Case Study:
Marketing & Visual Communication
A promotional flyer designed to launch an artist membership program at TractionSpace, a coworking space in downtown Tacoma. Created for both social media and print, the goal was to reach local artists with a clear, exciting message — and give them an easy path to apply.
Design a promotional flyer for the launch of a brand new artist membership program at TractionSpace, a coworking space in downtown Tacoma. The goal was to attract local artists with a compelling offer — display your work and keep 100% of your commission.
Because this was a brand new program with no prior presence, the flyer needed to do the heavy lifting of introducing the concept, building excitement, and driving action all at once. Without an existing audience to tap into, the design had to be compelling enough to reach artists organically — both on social media and through print around the city.
An eye-catching, high-impact design that balances bold visuals with clear, digestible information. The layout guides the viewer naturally toward a QR code linking to a simple online application — lowering the barrier to entry and turning curiosity into action. The design speaks directly to artists, making them feel seen and invited.

Disclosure: The TractionSpace logo and brand design system above were existing materials provided to me prior to this project. All brand identity — including the logo, color palette, and typography — was established by TractionSpace. My scope of work was the application of these assets in the design and layout of the promotional flyer.
